We had to wait a long time for this one but all waiting has an end now! After TANZWUT already heated up the clubs of the Republic live, there is nothing in the way for a little, intimate frenzy in front of one's own stereo. One song is called "Im Rausch" ("Intoxication") which stands for the whole cd: TANZWUT attracts you hypnotized into an eddy of electronic grooves, strong riffs and bittersweet bagpipe sounds until you can't do anything else but dance, dance, dance! Don't fight it, stop thinking, get caught, float - and you will fly almost 50 minutes. And after that you will push the 'repeat all' button and then again and again...for sure... "Komm her in meinen Bannkreis" ("Come into my ban") sings/talks/intonates Teufel and it's in fact impossible to get away. This record has magic, something special! At this point one normally tries to explain TANZWUT with other bands, tries to put their music into a stylish drawer and tries to make more or less logical comparison. The effort is in vain! It is sure that the guys didn't invent the German language, not the electric guitars, not the samplers and not even the bagpipes. But all the other bands out there didn't either. It doesn't matter what their name is and whether they are successful or not. But TANZWUT combined all the well-known ingredients completely new; it's exciting, unique; like a cook who created a new gourmet dish made out of average ingredients.
And you just can't explain it despite all word searching, you have to taste it with these words...TANZWUT tastes good! Enjoy your meal! |
