The medieval-industrial-rockers of TANZWUT are famous for their spectacular live show. Now they burned it on DVD and double-cd.
Energy loaded music between Industrial, Rock and Historic notes, a great stage set, their own designed live-outfits from chain shirt to metal fittings and loin cloth, unique instruments and fantastic choreography are the ingredients for the sweatening TANZWUT shows which not only bring musical pleasure but also a touch of medieval ecstasy.
Since last year, Tanzwut shows are supported by suitable video projections made by a movie artist. So Tanzwut combine excellence and euphoria like no other band at their concerts.
This great show is now burned on double-cd and DVD. You can own a "Tanzwut - Live" over 2hr concert from November 1st on. The DVD contains the complete concert as well as lots of bonus and background material. It comes out as a complete package limited edition or you can get the double-cd and DVD separately.
No efforts were avoided for this production and it was worked on the highest level. A few surprises were added to the recording of the show of Tanzwut which was already costly and spectacular anyway, for instance the E-TRUMMSCHEITE which were built together with the bass guitar legend Sandberg, were used for the first time. But you can also see Teufel in a sparkling stockade on the DVD in your home DVD set and discover more concert highlights.
The DVD visual is awesome, but as far as sound quality only the best is good enough. Nothing was cut or edited from the live recordings to keep the atmosphere of the concert on 8 May in the Muffathalle Munich unchanged. Another reason for the perfect Tanzwut-live-feeling on the DVD set at home is the dolby surround sound.
In addition to the around 2hr concert recording on DVD comes approximately 80 minutes of bonus material - from informative to crazy. By the way, fans were also involved in choosing bonus material. In the beginning of the year 2004 they could wish for specials - including the possibility to win a prize - and make suggestions for bonus clips. The fans requested views behind the scenes as well as for information about the instruments, for Tanzwut videoclips and for material from early years.
So you can find all Tanzwut music videos on "Tanzwut -Live" the DVD plus the "making of" from the "Nein, Nein" shooting with Ralf Richter, some live projections and one of the first Tanzwut performances in the year 1998.
The work and the daily tour routine before a concert is documented in the bonus movie "Aufbau" ("construction"). Furthermore, there is an impressive and also informative clip to the building of instruments (we already mentioned it). In "Fluch" ("Curse"), the audience can learn about the life of the musicians behind the scenes. From "A" like "ashtray" in the rehearsal room to "Z" like "Zapfenstreich" (= last call) in their favorite bar - you might even learn some things you didn&apst wanna know or see things you don&apst wanna see again.
Behind the shadow wall, questions are often asked of Tanzwut but are not answered in a really serious way, never to be answered again.
